On March 14, Dr. Megan Shoen, Assistant Professor of English, delivered a paper entitled “Making African Rhetorics Public: Discourse and Democracy in Botswana” at the annual Conference on College Composition and Communication, held this year, in Las Vegas. She also published "Rhetoric of the Thirstland: An Historical Investigation of Discourse in Botswana” in Rhetoric Review 31.2 (2012): 271-288.
