I admire and enjoy good writing, and here at La Salle University I am lucky to be able to combine areas of learning that especially interest me – writing and law.

I teach writing at all levels, from Freshman Composition to Advanced Composition, and marvel at the growth and discovery available to all of us through the study of language and writing.

In addition, I have been able to use my background as a practicing attorney of more than 20 years and as a businessperson to teach Business Writing, as well as to develop a new course – Legal Writing. La Salle University is one of the only universities in the area to offer undergraduate legal writing. That's just some evidence of the strength the English Department.

I also enjoy writing occasional commentary articles for The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Philadelphia Daily News.

And at home, I have three sons with my husband Patrick Cunnane, who enjoys work in the bicycle industry.
