| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Foreign Lang Faculty Member Publishes Article, Presents at Bryn Mawr | Luisa Ossa, faculty,Foreign Languages and Literatures, recently published the article, "Conciencia social y la herencia africana en la salsa de Joe Arroyo y Grupo Niche" in the Fall 2004 volume of the journal Afro-Hispanic Review. This article deals with social consciousness and African identity in the lyrics of two popular Colombian salsa artists.
Ossa also presented this research at Bryn Mawr College on, November 1st.
