As stewards of planet Earth, each of us have a responsibility to maintain and manage resources of this planet for our and future generations. The care for our planet requires those willing to embrace knowledge across many academic disciplines. La Salle University’s new, multidisciplinary Environmental Studies major was designed with this type of students in mind. Our Environmental Studies students will not only take required science courses but also choose from an array of non-science courses in a variety of disciplines. Graduates can work in many fields:

  • environmental management
  • resource management
  • project management
  • land-use planning
  • city planning
  • environmental policy
  • environmental law—upon completion of law school
  • education—upon completion of certification
