| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | History Senior, Simms, Represents La Salle at Asian Studies Consortium | On Saturday, March 25, Norman Simms, a senior history major, presented a paper at the Asian Studies Consortium of the Greater Philadelphia Human Studies Council at Haverford College. Simms represented La Salle, as students from Villanova, Bryn Mawr, St. Joseph's, Haverford, and Ursinus presented as well.
Simms' paper, "Why Were We There? A Bibliographical Analysis of the Debates Over How the United States became involved in the Vietnam War" was produced under the guidance of Dr. Charles Desnoyers, associate professor and chair of the History Department's senior seminar class. |
