Dr. Jane Turk, Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, presented her paper “Computer Literacy as Life Skills in a Web 2.0 World" at the annual ACM-SIGCSE (Association for Computing Machinery--Special Interest Group for Computer Science Education) Conference in Dallas, Texas, on March 11. The paper describes CSC 153, The Digital Person, a core course in computer literacy that she developed and teaches.
