According to Dr. Conrad Gleber, Director of the Digital Arts and Multimedia Design Program, “How content will be distributed and managed in new technologies will be one of the prevailing discussions” at the annual International Digital Media and Arts Association Conference, which La Salle is hosting Nov. 8 to 10. This conference, entitled Beyond Boundaries: Pedagogy & Change in the Academic Environment, will examine the integration of content into technology and the implications for teaching and learning. Highlights include Peter Rivera of AOL as the keynote speaker and an art exhibit displaying works by digital arts students from 10 universities. Events for the conference are scheduled not only at La Salle, but also at the U.S. Constitution Center, Painted Bride Art Center, and F.U.E.L. Art Gallery. For information, call ext. 1161.
