| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Philosophy Professor Reviews Marquesee on Dylan | Dr. Don Stefan Schindler, just published an essay/book-review on Bob Dylan. The essay reviewed the new book by Mike Marquesee, Chimes of Freedom: The Politics of Bob Dylan's Art. The book review has the same title and appears in the current edition of Socialism and Democracy. It's a follow up to a previously published review of Marqusee's earlier book, Redemption Song: Muhammad Ali and the Spirit of the Sixties.
Dr. Schindler will also havethe honor of presentingThe Peace Abbey CourageofConscience Awardto Michael Moore, on July 17th, at The International Courage of Conscience Awards Ceremonies at JFK Library in Boston. Schindler is amember of the Board of Directors of The Life Experience School and Peace Abbey, located in Sherborn, Massachusetts.
