The Philadelphia metropolitan area is a rich source of real-life, hands-on experiences that enhance a student’s academic coursework. The Psychology Department has strong relationships with many high quality hospitals, mental health agencies, and other organizations in the greater Philadelphia area that offer a variety of training opportunities. An internship is something that makes a student a strong applicant for both employment and graduate school.

To prepare for an internship, students are encouraged to make an appointment at La Salle’s Career and Employment Services to develop their résumés and cover letters as well as practice their interviewing skills.
