Angeles of the Religion Department has been awarded a Fulbright scholar grant to lecture and do research at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during the 2007-2008 academic year. Angeles will lecture on various topics on Islam in America and Southeast Asia and will research on the Visual Expressions of Islam in Malaysia. She will be in Malaysia from June 22 through November 13 of this year. |
