Native-American Activist Speaks to Religion Classes

Nanticoke-Lenni Lenape native Tina Pierce Fragoso spoke to Br. Joseph Dougherty's and Prof. Lee O'Connor's religion classes on Wednesday, October 24. Fragoso is employed by her tribal council and was trained at Princeton and Stanford as an anthropologist. Classes began with a purification ceremony and dancing. However, most of Fragoso's presentation was on the history and current condition of the tribe. For more information, see www. nanticoke-lenape.org
