John F. Connors , 3rd, holds a Ph.D. from Catholic University of America. He is past president of the Pennsylvania Sociological Society and is currently conducting research on religion, social class, and racism. He frequently mentors student research, encouraging students to present their findings at scholarly meetings. Dr. Connors has been active in the community on issues of housing and homelessness, on interracial and inter-religious relations and on questions of war and peace.
