Kathleen Bogle Publishes on Dating and Relationships in Sociology Compass

Kathleen Bogle, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice, published an article entitled "The shift from dating to hooking up in college: What scholars have missed” in a new journal Sociology Compass. The article is available to read online now (http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/toc/soco/0/0),but will also appear in an upcoming printed edition of Compass in the beginning of 2008. Research for this article was part of a larger project, which focused on examining dating and relationships among college students and young alumni at universities on the East Coast. The findings from the overall study will be released by New York University Press in January 2008 in Bogle's book entitled Hooking Up: Sex, Dating, and Relationships on Campus.
