| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Dedicated Transfer Student Shines at La Salle, Will Go On to BC | While her experience at La Salle may not have been as long as that of her graduating peers, senior Susan Wysor, made the most of her time here. As a transfer to La Salle in the spring of 2002, Susan participated in RSA, Peer Educators, Phi Alpha (social work honor society), and the Student Faculty Social Work committee. In October of 2003, Susan flew to Reno, Nevada to present a research study on the need for childcare for evening students at La Salle University.
After graduation, Susan plans to find an apartment and ajob in Philadelphia, possibly working with older adults or children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. She was been accepted Advanced Standing to the Master of Social Work program at Boston College and will begin her studies there in January 2006.
