Social Work Program professor, Janine Mariscotti, presented "Diagnosis, Treatmentand Beyond: The Psychosocial Aspects of Living with Celiac Disease" at the XII International Celiac Disease Symposium in New York City on November 9-11, 2006.

The symposium drew over 1500 physicians, researchers, dieticians/nutritionists, policy makers, social workers, and patients from over 30 countries to participate in presentations about the current and future of celiac disease management and treatment across the globe.
