Matt Myrick, '05, Kristen Baun, '01, Theresa Stewart, '86, Mary Oleksiak, '81, and Mike Frye ,'72 spoke to students October 18 at a career forum sponsored by the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice and by Career Services. These presenters, representing the fields of hospital social work, policing, adult probation and parole, law, and geriatric social work, told about the career paths they had each taken since leaving La Salle. Students received many tips on how to prepare for career advancement following graduation such as completing internships, dual majors and minors, and networking. The alums also discussed how best to prepare for graduate school.
