Regional Student Affairs Professionals Learn from Lasallians' Presentations

The 34th Annual Delaware Valley Student Affairs Conference (DVSAC) on February 15 included two presentations by Lasallians.
Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice Dr. Kathleen Bogle, along with St. Joseph's University's Dr. George Dowdall, led a session centering on “The Connection Between 'Hooking Up' and Alcohol Use.” Drawing on qualitative and quantitative data, the presenters examined ways to address links between college and university students' behaviors in these areas.
Coordinator of Off-Campus Communities Corienne Casagrande, Resident Coordinator Nicole Pellegrino, and Dean of Students Dr. Joseph J. Cicala '79 led a session entitled "An Assessment Initiative: If You Build It, Will They Come?" The session focused on the ten-year history of the “Learning La Salle” series of research studies and the uses of these studies in improving programs and services.
