| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Soven and Zetick Meet with Freshmen in Discourse Student-Faculty Colloquia | On February 27, Margot Soven, Professor of English and Bonni Zetick, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice, met with several freshmen as a part of the Discourse Student-Faculty Colloquia Program to view part of the film Sicko and discuss health care issues. The program encourages faculty and freshmen students to connect through informal “colloquia” or gatherings, where they can talk about topics of interest. Discourse is part of a wider Freshman Year Institute pilot, initiated by the Provost and carried forward under the auspices of the Dean of the Arts & Sciences.
