| < Back to Newsbyte Headlines | | Janine Mariscotti Appointed Commissioner for Social Work Accreditation | | La Salle University’s Social Work Program is pleased to announce that Janine Mariscotti, Assistant Professor of Social Work, has been appointed to a three-year term as a Commissioner on the Council for Social Work Education's Commission for Social Work Accreditation effective July 1, 2008. This Commission meets three times a year in Alexandria, Virginia to make final decisions on initial accreditations or reaffirmations of all the BSW and MSW programs across the country. This appointment follows Professor Mariscotti's service as a site visitor to social work programs undergoing their reaccreditation reviews. |
