Assistant Professors of Social Work Janine Mariscotti, Bonni H. Zetick, and Donna Fiedler presented on the topic "Assessment: Designing, Delivering, and Evaluating a BSW Capstone Assignment" at the 2012 Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors Conference held March 15-17 in Portland, Oregon. The faculty spoke about using Jonathan Kozol's Amazing Grace as a basis for the capstone assignment, which requires students to answer questions in each of the ten competency areas required in undergraduate social work education. Mariscotti,along with Meghan DeFranco, BSW '12 and Brendan Young, BSW '12, presented research on campus services available to students experiencing bereavement .Pictured are Mariscotti, DeFranco and Young.
