Dr. Janice Beitz is presenting a poster at the Symposium on Adanced Wound Care in Orlando, FL in May 2004. "Elderly morbidly obese female with heparin induced thrombodytopenia (HIT) syndrome bullous lesions."

Beitz's article, "Anticoagulant-induced skin necrosis" was published. American Journal of Nursing , 104(4), 31-32.

Advance for Nurses described nurses as expert witnesses. Faculty members Joanne Serembus, Kathleen Vito, and Janice Beitz were recently highlighted.

Faculty member Patti Zuzelo, a joint appointee for La Salle and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, was featured on the cover of Nursing Spectrum's April 5 issue. The dual role put the spotlight on Patti and La Salle with our neighbor, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.
