Dr. Janice Beitz and Dr. Diane Wieland presented at the National League for Nursing conference in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, October 1, 2005. Their session was titled: "Analyzing Effective Classroom and Clinical Teaching: A Report on Two Nursing Education Research Studies."

Dr. Wieland also presented the outcomes of a study examining research instruments focused on measuring cultural competence. Her co-presenters were Dr. Michael Roszkowski and Dr. Kathleen Vito.
