Kathleen O. Vito, DNSc, RN, Director of the Graduate Nursing Program at the SON, recently completed the National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved training course which qualified her to be commissioned by the Diocese of Camden as a Minister of Consolation.

Dr. Vito performs community service as a parish nurse in St. Ann 's Roman Catholic Church in Elmer, New Jersey in addition to her responsibilities at the University. Thirty Roman Catholic Churches in the Diocese of Camden have parish nurses for health ministry.
