News from Speech-Language-Hearing Science Dept.
Dr. Evelyn Klein, Assistant Professor, Speech-Language-Hearing Science, has two recent publications: "A Speech-Language Approach to Beginning Reading" in ASHA Perspectives on Language Learning and Education; and "Examining Visual-Verbal Associations in Children With and Without Reading Disorder" in Reading Psychology.

Kelly Bowes, Speech-Language-Hearing Science graduate student will be presenting in Ghent, Belgium at the Clinical Aphasiology 2006 Conference in May. Her topic is "Rehabilitation of reading and writing using a bigraph-phoneme correspondence approach: Longitudinal evidence from a single case study."
