La Salle University Nutrition Programs Didactic Program in Nutrition and Coordinated Program in Dietetics, both received 10-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education of the American Dietetic Association. The Coordinated Program in Dietetics is the only one of its kind in the Philadelphia region that offers students a nutrition internship as a senior-level undergraduate, allowing graduates to attain the Registered Dietitian credential upon completion of the BS in Nutrition degree. In addition, the Coordinated Program was accredited with an urban health emphasis and is the only undergraduate Coordinated Program nationally that focuses specifically on urban nutrition issues.
