Six graduate students in La Salle's Speech-Language-Hearing-Science Program provided free speech and language screenings to over 250 children at the North Philadelphia Head Start Program--St. Elizabeth.
The students all volunteered for this opportunity. Upon leaving on the final day, Director Roslyn Edwards told them that "It is very apparent that you care about these children". |
