Nancy Cook, a graduate student in SONHS’s Adult Health and Illness: Clinical Nurse Specialist track, received the Graduate Student Poster Award and a monetary prize at the 2008 National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS) Conference held March 5-8 in Atlanta, Georgia. Cook’s poster explored the ability of telemetry nurses to correctly identify cardiac monitor alarms. Susan La Salle, a graduate student in the same program, also presented a poster at this conference. Dr. Patti Zuzelo, Professor of Nursing, is the CNS track coordinator and serves on the NACNS Board of Directors.
