| La Salle’s Neighborhood Nursing Center partnered this summer with the Christian Entertainment Fellowship Network (CEFN) to pilot "Connecting: body soul, and spirit,” a health and fitness program for residents within the local community. Dr. Ana Maria Catanzaro, Director of Public Health Nursing Programs and the Neighborhood Nursing Center, Dr. Joan Frizzell, Assistant Professor of Nursing, and graduate nursing students Pat Westerfer and Pat Slayton-Atkins helped with the nutrition and health -promotion parts of this program, which was held at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church on West Rittenhouse Street. |
