Fred J. Foley, Jr., Director of Grants Research and Support, announced August 27 that Independence Blue Cross(IBC) and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Foundation have awarded La Salle’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences an IBC Nurse Scholars Grant of $104,305 for the 2008-2009 academic year. This award provides scholarship assistance to graduate students, both full-and part-time, who are pursing nursing education.
