Dr. Holly M. Harner, Ph.D., MPH, WHCNP-BC, SANE, Assistant Professor n the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the Director of the new Master of Public Health Program recently was designated a 2010 Eastern Nursing Research Society/American Nurses Foundation Scholar. As a Scholar, she received a grant to fund a study entitled “Focus Groups on the Physical and Mental Health Conditions in Incarcerated Women.” Harner’s experience includes clinical practice as a staff nurse, nurse practitioner, and forensic nurse. She has also taught at the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University, and Boston College.
