Dr. Earl Goldberg, Ed.D., MSN, R.N., APRN, Associate Professor of Nursing, has been named the recipient of the 2011 Courage, Commitment, and Compassion Award.  As stated by Dr. Zane Wolf, Ph.D., R.N., Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, "The award, presented by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), recognizes a Pennsylvania R.N. who has demonstrated extraordinary responses to requests or situations requiring the highest form of commitment to patients and their families."

Dr. Goldberg will receive the award at the PSNA Summit andAwards Ceremony and Dinner at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown on October 12, 1011.
