Before beginning nursing major courses - which are concentrated in the junior and senior years - the student must have earned at least 60 credits in the liberal arts and sciences and have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.00 and science G.P.A. of 3.00 (Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Microbiology, and Chemistry). Nursing major courses consist of 52 credits.
For students who have previously attended any other nursing program, a letter of good standing from the director of that program is required. This letter is to be sent directly to the Undergraduate Nursing Program office.
