The purpose of the Undergraduate Nursing Program at La Salle University is to educate nurses for entry into professional practice. Graduates practice from a holistic perspective in order to respond to changing heath care needs of individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations in a diverse society. La Salle nursing graduates are prepared as leaders to effect change in health care and community systems. The Program instills the value of life long learning as a hallmark of the professional nurse and serves as a foundation for graduate study.
