Welcome!
The mission of the Teaching and Learning Center is to support the dedication to excellence in teaching that fosters excellence in learning by:
  • developing and supporting programs to assist students in attaining academic excellence
  • developing and supporting programs to assist faculty in implementing innovative pedagogy
  • supporting faculty in their professional and scholarly development at all stages of their careers

Learning Support
Learning Support encompasses those services that assist students in reaching their academic goals. This includes: Academic Enrichment Program, Academic Discovery Program, Peer Tutoring Services, Academic Support for Athletes, the Sheekey Writing Center, Learning Instruction, and the Freshman Advising Program.

Professional and peer support is available throughout the year via workshops and individual sessions. For more information call 215-951-1807.

The Teaching and Learning Center performs its work in collaboration with numerous campus partners, including the Learning Support Services, Distributed Education, Multimedia Services ,the Faculty Development Committee and the Leaves and Grants Committee.
