TLC
Programs, Workshops, & Events
The
TLC hosts a variety of programs, workshops, and special
events throughout the year to address topics related to
instruction and professional development of faculty members.
- Check announcements in the Campus News and on the mylasalle
portal for the latest information.
Consultative
Services
The
Coordinator of Faculty Development of the TLC is available
for individual consultation with faculty on a variety
of teaching-related issues.

Videotaped
classes : instructors may have their classes taped and
viewed with the coordinator.

Classroom
observation : the Coordinator will visit a class and
then discuss observations and suggestions informally
with the instructor.

Course
consultation : the Coordinator will discuss course design
and evaluation with the instructor
Resources
to Borrow
Numerous
books, videos, and periodicals are available for faculty
to borrow; feel free to stop by Olney 212 to browse the
shelves or consult the online list and submit your request.
Teaching
with Technology
The
TLC partners with the Office of Distributed Education,
Portal Communications and Multimedia Services to provide
support for academic technology initiatives.
