Rosemary Elliott’s professional experience includes working as a staff nurse for 3 years in a pediatric and adult medical surgical unit; a staff nurse for 10 years in maternal child unit caring for prenatal clients, preterm and term newborns, and postpartum moms and families; and a certified school nurse for 14 years for over 1500 students in grades k through 12. For the past six years, she has planned, coordinated, and collaborated with nursing and nutrition staff for interdisciplinary simulation and has developed and implemented nursing simulation for over 800 undergraduate and graduate nursing educational programs at La Salle. During her career, she has served as an American Red Cross Club moderator for high school students, participated as a Board of Directors member of the American Diabetic Association, and served as public relations, conference committee chair, and president of the Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses and Practitioners (PASNAP) and the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA), District 25 Montgomery County Nurses. She has also served as the vice president of Sigma Theta Tau International–Kappa Delta Chapter, the honor society of nursing, and is a member ANA/ PSNA, APHA, and the Tri-State International Nurses Association of Clinical Simulation Laboratories (INACSL).
