Ciara Levine joined the La Salle community as an Assistant Professor in the fall of 2007. Previously she worked as a clinical adjunct faculty for psychiatric inpatient care and as both a staff nurse and clinical nurse manager; she also worked in homecare. Since coming to La Salle, she has served as the faculty advisor for the student nurses association. Professor Levine is a member of Sigma Theta International, XI Chapter, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the American Holistic Nursing Association. Her areas of interest include treatment of anxiety and depression utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, group treatment for weight loss, caregiver role strain in the care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease, bullying in nursing, holistic nursing, and self-care.
