Arrival Information

When to arrive

  • Incoming freshmen and transfer students check in from 8 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Aug. 23. Please don't be early! Doors will not open until 8 a.m.
  • Returning students may check in on Saturday, Aug. 25, or Sunday, Aug. 26. Please see Check-in Information.

What to expect when you arrive

  • BoxesFor new students, it will be a hectic and emotional day. It will be a little crazy, but don’t panic. You will get through it.
  • New students will also be meeting new people. Everyone is going through the same thing you are. This makes a great bonding opportunity. You may meet people that could be your friends for life.
  • Alot of people will be moving in at the same time, creating what appears to be mass confusion. If you need help or have a question, look for the Administrative Services and Community Development staff. They're here to help you!
  • There will be forms to sign.
  • The Division of Student Affairs will be doing everything we can to make this experience go smoothly.
