Getting Experience
Related work experience is something employers repeatedly look for on a resume. But how can you get experience while you're trying to get an education? Combine them! Experiential Education allows you to gain work experience while still a student at La Salle. It's easy, it's painless and it can open many doors for you. Three available options are:

Co-ops (Cooperative Education)
A co-op allows you to work full- or part-time during the school year for a 3 - 6 month period. You can gain valuable experience while working in a professional position that is related to your major or career interests. All co-op assignments are paid experiences and offer academic credit.
Co-op requires careful academic planning, so inquire about it during the early years of your academic career at La Salle. Review the links below then make an appointment with the Experiential Education Coordinator to discuss how co-op can work for you.

Why should I do a Co-op?
