one or more of the following programs beneficial as you develop

Experiential Education
Start recruiting before they graduate! If you need seasonal help
or an additional set of hands for special projects or a full-time
temporary employee, consider hiring a bright, enthusiastic student
who is eager to learn more about your organization or industry.
You might have needs during the summer months when many of our students
are available to work full-time. Maybe you have a special task or
project that requires part-time hours during the fall or spring
semesters. Possibly you have a formal co-op program where students
will work full-time for a semester or two. There are several programs
that fall under the 'umbrella' of Experiential Education - Cooperative
Education (Co-Op), Internships, ands Summer Jobs.
On-Campus Recruiting
Visit La Salle's campus in Philadelphia to meet and interview graduating
students and recent grads for entry-level positions. La Salle's
On Program is a "pre-selection" process. That means you
have the opportunity to first review the resumes of students interested
in your position and company and then select the students you feel
are the most qualified to interview. You may schedule dates in the
fall semester (between October and December) or spring semester
(between February and early April). Please note that, due to our
Mid-semester Spring Break, dates are not available during the first
full week of March.
Job Fairs
Informally meet hundreds of candidates during one or both of our
two annual job fairs. The Experiential Education Fair, held in early
November, provides you the opportunity to promote internship and
co-op positions to juniors, seniors, and even sophomores. Our Career
Expo, held annually in March, gives you the chance to discuss full-time
openings and summer jobs with undergraduate and graduate students
as well as recent alumni.
Job Postings
Cover all your bases! To reach the largest pool of candidates and
increase the number of qualified candidates you reach, mail or fax
your job postings to our office. The hundreds of position listings
we receive each week are posted in our office's Job Books, which
are categorized by industry and field. Most full-time jobs are also
posted to our on-line system - eXplorenet. Graduating students and
alumni seeking employment have access to eXplorenet.
Resume Referral
Employers seeking immediate employment candidates may opt for resume
referral. To receive the resumes of employment candidates just mail
or fax a job description with a written request for resumes. Should
we have candidates who match your needs, you can expect to receive
resumes in a week. Upon receiving resumes, you are free to contact
and interview candidates at your convenience.
