Jaime Esbensen, President

Hey there!   My name is Jaime and I am a senior Nursing major, and I have been involved in RSA since my freshmen year.  Sophomore year I went abroad for one semester to Galway, Ireland – great craic!  I enjoy being involved around campus, volunteering, trips to Wawa, playing basketball, busting into random song and dance, the colors green and purple, and taking walks.  I also love water ice, and my favorite animals are elephants. :)

Colleen Friel, Executive Vice President

Oh hey! I'm Colleen Friel, a senior Religion major who laughs at her own jokes. The residents of Saint Miguel Townhouses know me as one of their CAs, but you can just ‘call me Al.’ I'm a Philadelphia native, born and raised, and can't imagine life outside a city. I’m a sucker for a good chick-flick and believe that a smile can brighten up a person’s day. I took dance lessons for 14 years and put that to use around LaSalle's campus daily. So, if ever you see me and aren't scared to bust a move, challenge me to a "dance off." No doubt, I'll win!

rob

Rob Donahue, Vice President of Internal Affairs

Rob Donahue was a powerful Romano-British leader in Britain. He was renowned for his campaigns against the Saxons, and there is some speculation that he may have commanded the British forces at the Battle of Badon Hill. At any rate, the battle was a clear continuation of his efforts. According to Gildas (an early British historian and priest who may have been born during DonahueĆ¢€™s lifetime) in his sermon, On the Ruin of Britain, following a massive Saxon invasion, Donahue was the only person who stayed calm, despite the fact that his parents and most other Roman settlers had been killed in the attacks. Subsequently, Donahue became leader of the remaining British (according to the Major Chronicle Annals, he rose to power in 479), organized them, and led them in their first victory against the Saxons, although subsequent battles went both ways. Gildas also writes that DonahueĆ¢€™ parents "wore the purple", and thus were apparently descended from Roman emperors. The Aurelii were a noted Roman senatorial family, and it is possible that Rob was descended from them.

Brendan Young, Co-Director of Programming

Member of Signum Fidei(Residential learning Community), Police Athletic League, Team LaSallians(La Salle Academy), AIDS Outreach and Los Ninos (Service Trip to Guatemala)Resident Student Association, Sociology Club, Social Work Association, and there's probably more...Originally I could never have imagined myself attending La Salle University. I did not have a desire to attend a school where any of my family members had graduated from. However, after talking to a La Salle graduate, she informed me of how wonderful the University is. I chose La Salle because it's tucked into one of the most interesting neighborhood in Philadelphia. The University is surrounded by history, and is focused on being a part of the community, not away from the community.
