Letter From the President

Hello,

La Salle is a great place for many reasons, especially because students can participate in various activities ranging from clubs centered on a specific major, fraternities and sororities, to groups serving our neighborhood and the Philadelphia community.  I encourage all students to create connections and become involved in a University sponsored organization.

The Resident Student Association (RSA) may just be the organization for you.  The RSA motto, “making La Salle your second home” has many meanings, whether it is hosting an ice cream social for a resident hall, sponsoring a barbecue at the end of the year or a bus trip to the Phillies game, or alerting the right people when the shower down the hall is leaking.  Students can become involved in his or her area government in order to make the resident hall feel like home.  RSA also allows you to notice members of La Salle who have made a difference and have stood out as leaders.  Please take a minute to search out website and find out more about RSA.

As President, I want to bring the Lasallian mission into resident halls by creating connections with service and community based organizations on campus.  We need to work together in order to improve the La Salle community.  Again, I strongly urge students to participate in an organization not only to make your experience at La Salle better, but to also have La Salle become a better place because of you.

Thank you,

Jaime Esbensen
