Senate
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CODE OF ELECTION
Whereas: The Constitution of the Students’ Government Association Article III Section 6 expressly
authorizes the creation of a Code of Election, and
Whereas: The Senate, after careful consideration, has determined that said Code is necessary
for the general welfare of the students of La Salle University, and
Whereas: The Senate desires to ensure a fair and equal process for all candidates to stand for election
NOW THEREFORE WE, THE SENATE OF THE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY STUDENT’s GOVERNMENT
ASSOCIATION, IN GENERAL SESSION WITH A MAJORITY OF SENATORS CONCURRING, DO HEREBY
ESTABLISH AN ELECTION CODE AS FOLLOWS
