The Multicultural and International center along with the Student programming center will be sponsoring an International Happening Hour in backstage for study abroad alumni, international students, travel study faculty and the La Salle community.

October 3, 2009 - Egypt on the Potomac Field Trip is not a tour of Washington, D.C. It is an interactive experience designed to educate, enlighten and transform. This field trip will familiarize you with the architecture, symbolism, philosophy, and mythology of the ancient Nile Valley, and show you where elements of these disciplines can be found throughout the District. We will decode symbols, discuss the influence of Masonry, and show you America’s secret acknowledgment of ancient Africa’s contributions to civilization. Once this field trip is completed, you will never look at this city the same way again!!!
Signups begin September 21, 2009 in the Union room 307 and will last until October 2, 2009. You will need a $5 deposit (which will be REFUNDED back to you upon arrival at the bus. Leaving La Salle’s Hayman Center at 10:00am – contact Zakia Tucker at tuckerz1@lasalle.edu for more information. World Cultures Fair!
Location: Union Patio (rain location, La Salle Union Ballroom)
The Cross Cultural Association will be sponsoring their annual World Cultures Fair on the Union Patio. The fair will include a variety of different ethnic foods, Hannah hand painting and a performance by the Neo African Drums.
