Programming
Center
La Salle Union 305
215-951-5165
The
primary goal of the Programming Center is to increase students’
personal, intellectual, social, and cultural development through involvement
in activities. Three Programming Coordinators work with students, student
organizations, faculty, and other University staff members in developing
ideas, plans, and venues for successful programs and events.
One
Programming Coordinator works closely with our student organizations
to help them develop and implement their programs and events, and co-chairs
our Activities Funding Board.
One
Programming Coordinator works in conjunction with La Salle faculty involved
with the Freshman Year Odyssey (FYO) component of the Core Curriculum.
Each FYO component must fulfill a travel element (i.e. field trip).
The Programming Coordinator acts as a liaison and advisor for faculty
members and outside groups in order to coordinate trips that are relevant
to the particular FYO topics.
One
Programming Coordinator leads divisional and University efforts in support
of Late Night La Salle,
the late night/weekend programming initiative debuting in Fall, 2003.
