Adult Learning Program

The Adult Learning Program classes are held three times each week for three hours per class. The Adult Learning Program offers both Adult Basic Education and English Literacy classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening. All classes meet for three sessions each week. The program is a ten-month program divided into two eleven-week cycles during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

The Adult Learning Program at La Salle University is part of the Philadelphia Adult Education Network, composed of the YMCA of Philadelphia, Lutheran Children and Family Services, the Elkins Park Library and La Salle University.

- Official GED© Practice Tests are offered throughout the program year 

How to Register

- Call 215-951-1424 to leave your name and daytime phone number. Your call will be returned in the order it is received and you will be given a date for in-person registration. Classes begin every 11 weeks.

What to Expect During Registration

- Allow for an hour and a half for entire registration process
- Identification of your goals
- Registration and placement test
- Personal interview
- Discussion of class schedule and orientation
