National Institute for Literacy

The National Institute for Literacy serves as a clearinghouse for public and private activities that support the development of high-quality regional, state, and national literacy services. NIFL's goal is to ensure that all Americans with literacy needs have access to services that can help them gain the basic skills necessary for success in the workplace, family, and community in the 21st century.

National Center for Family Literacy

The National Center for Family Literacy is a nonprofit organization supporting family literacy services for families across the United States through programming, training, research, advocacy and dissemination.

National Center on Adult Literacy

Serves as a gateway to electronic resources and tools for the national and international adult literacy communities.

National Clearinghouse for ESL Literacy Education

National information center focusing on the language and literacy education of adults and out-of-school youth learning English.

Mayor's Commission on Literacy (Philadelphia)

Established to ensure that quality education is available to equip all adults in Philadelphia with the literacy skills necessary for the workforce, parenting, and community life.

National Center for the Study of Adult Literacy and Learning

Gain access to on-going research in the field of Adult Literacy by a collaborative effort from schools around the country.
