Student Technology Checklist

New students should complete all the action items on the list below before starting classes to make sure they have the technology tools needed to be successful.

TaskCheckDownload McAfee VirusScan (Download for Mac | Download for PC) to protect your computer (mylasalle login is required to access this link).

TaskCheckSet up SafeConnect (Installer for Mac | Installer for PC) to access the La Salle network from your computer in the residence halls.

TaskCheckConnect to the La Salle wireless networks.

TaskCheckSetup your La Salle email. Also, sync email to your (iPhone | Android)

On Campus Resources

Technology Assistance Center, Olney Hall, Room 200

Opening Week Hours:

Monday – Thursday:  8:30am-7:30pm

Friday-Sunday:  8:30am-10:00pm

***Connectivity Sessions, Olney Hall, Room 100- Thursday, Aug. 25th until Sunday, Aug. 28th will be from 10:00am-8:00pm.

 

TAC Regular Hours:

Monday – Thursday:  7:30am-10:00pm

Friday: 7:30am-6:00pm

Saturday – Sunday:  12:00pm-6:00pm

 

Wister Lab

Wister Lab will reopen on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Wister Regular Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:45am-10:00pm

Bomgar Live Chat

On-campus users can use the orange Bomgar button icon bomgar-icon on any office or classroom computer to initiate a live remote support session with a support technician any time between the hours of 8:15am-5:30pm on Monday through Friday.
