The following document provides information regarding the usage of computers for both online learners and the residence halls. It describes what you should have while enrolled at La Salle, how to maintain your computer, information regarding La Salle University's polices, and resources available for students.

The University offers a broad variety of technology services for our students, including wireless access in all classrooms and many common areas; a high-bandwidth Internet connection for every resident; numerous PC labs and classrooms; and a state-of-the-art portal that permits students to register for classes, view their grades, submit housing applications, and many other tasks from their browser.

Once again this year, we are strongly recommending specific La Salle-configured computers for our incoming students. We have negotiated extremely favorable prices for ThinkPad and Mac notebooks that will be sold directly by the University. These notebooks will be pre-configured to work in La Salle’s environment, will include the advanced software suite (pre-installed) that students will need for classes, and will be supported and repaired on-site by La Salle technicians.
