La Salle Graduate John Ogden Wins NBC-10's "Best Summer Gig Ever" Competition,Will Be Traffic Reporter at the Station until August

La Salle University graduate John Ogden won NBC 10's "Best Summer Gig Ever," and will be a traffic reporter at the station from June to August.

A communication major who was graduated from La Salle earlier this month, Ogden, of Marlton, NJ, came out as the top vote-getter in the month-long competition, which began with him (and hundreds of other hopefuls) auditioning before a panel of judges. Ogden and nine others were selected to make it to the next round, which had him and the others broadcasting traffic reports live from the station's studio in Bala Cywyd, Penna. from 6 am to 7 am. Viewers then selected the five finalists, who again did live traffic reports.

After the last broadcasts, the five finalists had to wait as viewers voted via email for their favorite.
